The uploader seems to be something that gets a fair bit of use, so I've just finished up these two bits -- the Firefox extension and the bookmarklet. Both are intended to allow you to upload to the uploader without it being a huge pain in the ass. They're far from complete, but they'll get the job done.
I suspect the bookmarklet will be confusing, so you can read more about them (and get more of them) here.
Thoughts? Questions? Maniacal laughter as you attempt to understand how to right-click-add-bookmark but ams defeated utterly by smug web-browser?

Got both of them, but I upload a lot of shit from my desktop, so these are useless in that respect.

They're also going to be useless in allowing you to upload images from your closet. (You can try anyway just to confirm.)
Will invest in the future of closet-based uploading technology ASAP.

It worked for me with no glitches, leaving me vaguely dissatisfied as I have no legitimate grounds to complain about anything.
Ironically, my lack of anything to complain about appears to be grounds for complaint.
