I have an AMD2600+ with a GS6800 and Battlefield 2/2142 play acceptably, though not great, and I'm looking to upgrade. Not sure how the 6600 stacks up, but I'll bet not super-favorably.

I just experienced extra well done PC as my shit fukin fried yesterday, so no games for me until I get something new built. I can try BF2142 on my lappy but I do not have high hopes.
However, let it be known that I am making every effort to support Team LOL.

I`m always down to play some games.Not BF2 or 2142 though.Those are like WoW but with Planes,Grenades and shit like that.EA fucked up big time (for me anyway) when they went with the "level up" bullshit.
I have quite a few games,just holler when you want to play some.I also have a TeamSpeak server that runs 24/7 (which I offered long ago).Not sure if anyone has been on it or not,I don`t check the logs.I use it to help friends out with a little tech support...
My new J.O.B. has me on a schedule that I can pretty much only game on the weekends.
Madden 08 anyone?

Ok, I finally got BF 2142 installed and tested. Surprisingly, it works pretty good on my laptop with Vista. I will need to get a trackball mouse, or some such other human interface, to be able to play. The finger pad mouse does not work well for this shit. I need to have more control over which area of my face I am shot in.
I don't have a mic on this PC, is this needed for Team LOL interaction, or no? I could get a mic/headset if needed. Please advise, ovar. |
