Well...I'm new to this forum...actually I was thinking of taking you up on the exchange of links but i thought I'd register and get some member feedback first.
TheTAZZone is a relatively new forum/website ( only 7 months old ) but very active ( over 2000 threads and 30,000 posts...looking to hit close to 60,000 our first year )...created as a member-operated forum ( yep...the members all run the place )...
and it's very relaxed...no one really trips...and flames are far and few between...but the ribbing is a constant
Being young we are looking to hook-up with well-established websites/forums that can boost our profile and share a relationship
with that will one day be mutually benefitting.
i'd like your opinion on the website and the forums...

Hey, thanks for re-posting that I suck badly
I thought it was a very honest and straightforward post myself...very respectful...having lurked here awhile I figured this would be a good place to post it...a new forum requesting some form of help or assistance...at least I wasn't trying to hide anything...or be disrespectful in any way...and if you read through the posts I was never offended by your comments...in fact my recent post was meant to continue the banter we had going at the time.
And how exactly have I pooped on your doorstep?
As for low membership... I suck badly actually if we didn't regularly clean out accounts we'd have more than you...just like we have more posts and more threads.

I went and checked out the crapyarded thread. It started off all well and good, but turned into a dusty old asshat filled with self-promotion and dead bunny rabbits. Your website has members and whatnot, blah blah, good for you, but nowhere in the definition of 'review' is there anything that hints at shameless plugging being remotely related to criticism. It went to the crapyard because (and I can only assume) it was no longer serving a purpose, or at least the intended one. Deal with it and move on. You have a website to go promote, so quit defending it here, you obtuse waste of internets.

Actually, we have one forum...those other forums are still under construction....concept forums...they're still on our main domain in sub-domains...but once they're ready will sit in their own domain...this week the check went out to purchase their own domains...
in a couple years...after they are ready to go...we'll see. :FARTBANG:
The only one we're dropping is Women Rule...our, admitting, lame attempt to attract a larger demographic. :FARTBANG:

Well..I've read quite a few posts in here ( this forum ) and that has got to be the closest thing to an actual review I've seen in awhile.
And I agree...we are kinda spreading ourselves out...in terms of standard internet design our site/s are going out of mainstream standards...unlike most of the sites that post in this forum we are not a commercial enterprise...so...we don't have to cater to advertiser mentalities...so we can do what we want how we want to do it...
kinda like Linkswarm...in that respect anyways :FARTBANG:
If we were going for the advertiser dollar obviously we would have taken a different route...we want advertisers, yes...but we don't design around them. :FARTBANG:
So...if we think our members would like a dedicated Sports forum...we make it...if it flies great, if not, no harm done.
But, yes, I totally agree that we are breaking with traditional practices...which isn't necessarily a bad thing :FARTBANG:

In the future, if you want your hit-trolling to be effective, you'll have to make an effort to hide it. You can do this by being more consistent in your message and not contradicting yourself from post to post, but it's probably worth it, judging by the effort you made to keep on top of this thread. Ummmm, I clock in at 40 years old. I looked at your site, and gave you 13 seconds of my time before leaving. To be quite honest, it has potential, but it is a bit of a mess. My 1st thought was " game site", and I don't need that @ 40 years old. Maybe there is a diamond in the rough, but I have no desire to wield a pick and shovel. If you are into something for the youngins' crowd, failed portal for several things idea, perhaps you should continue. Hell, maybe there are people that love that stuff and will explore and return.
And what the fuck of a name is TAZzone? The word Taz starts of strong, but leads to nowhere.... Say it out loud: Tazzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. Like falling asleep. It just doesn't stick in my brain. Tacking on zone @ the end is useless. The use of caps and lowercase is quite annoying and I don't like your font. Overall, my first visual impressions of your site make me want to look @ a blank wall to refocus my eyes and brain. And that's honest opinion.
Of course, I probably don't fit into your demo of RedBull'd teeners and twenty-somethings with the attention span of a crack head, which may not notice any of the aforementioned weak visuals, as they are too busy clicking and processing the next thought. Hell, maybe that's a plus for the site?!
Also, your continued return and comments @ LS reveal your lack of understanding of LS. Just walk away from the keyboard, because you are doomed to repeat the same mistake after your first retort. Not sure how long you have actually used the internets, but that is a lesson that you get after one flaming. It appears that you... A) Don't learn from your mistakes, and/or B) Just had your first encounter with being ass-raped on the nets. Good luck with your site, take a step back, look how confusing it really is, and maybe filter out the jagged criticism in this thread and apply its lessons.
