What gadgets do you gots? Don't hold back. (ie laptops, thumb drives, electric toothbrushes, dildo's, gaming consoles, electric back scratcher, cell phones, iPod + accesories, printers, scanners, pocket pussies, nintendo game watches, yer mouse, DVR, TV's, monitors, keyless car entry, bat copter, robotic pony... etc. ad absurdumb)

Note: This isn't a bragfest. In fact, its more an expose on how addicted to gadgets I/you are/am. For example, I have had no job for the past 9 months, and no health insurance for the last three, yet I still aquired alot of this crap that I really don't need. Also, much of this crap is old as hell and I refuse to let go of it, weather I use it or not.

I own a new VW passat which rocks my cock with keyless entry and I hook up my iPod in it. Sweet.

There was a time, all too recently, when I had none of the following:

cellphone
DVD player
digital camera
XBox (or game console of any kind)
PC modern enough to do anything fun with

I turned a corner one day and am much happier for it.

I own a basic cell, never use its camera, and even though I run a business, I don't own any palm like/blackberry device. I'm not a technophile, but appreciate technological advances and the thoughts behind them. Definitely not in the class of "Wow, gotta have that" gadget group. My last console was a Sega 16 bit. I still own my 2600 and Intellivision. My writing is always done longhand before it meets the keyboard. Most of my friends and employees in the IT field think I'm a dinosaur, not only because of my age, but because of my assumed ludite approach to technology.

In the plus column, I pretty much have everything that I need for my AV and computing needs, so no complaints. My home is as wired up and automated as time allows me to make it.

In the last year or so I have acquired:

1. an ultra basic cell phone that has no camera or bluetooth

2. a digital camera

3. two nifty 1 gig usb sticks that are the size of wrigleys gum

and of course there's my a three year old pc.

This appears to be the limit of my techno gadgets.

ONE digital scale for weighing vast assortments of drugs
TWO a ridiculously upgraded and worship-worthy macbook made even more sweet by my not having to pay for it. i never thought a wireless mouse could be so badass.
THREE fancy cellphone with 2gig mini sd that i paid way too much money for and dont take care of at all
FOUR some shitty mp3 players i never use
FIVE a hundred dollar digital camera that i havent seen in about a year and a half

and uh thats about it. the rest of my money goes toward using number ONE.

oooh take that random response you never really wanted

I'm obsessive with my digital/electronic devices. I may not own the best of things (i have a family), but the stuff I buy I treat like I'm handling a fragile fetus, always.

I just purchased this Sony portable because I swear I got a chubby when walking past it at Circuit City. Nothing makes me happier than laying in bed and watching movies with nice headphones.

I talked myself into a new phone over the summer. It was either an iPhone or the Samsung Blackjack. I realized that I'm poor and the Samsung won. The Blackjack does have 2 gigs of memory, an mpeg video player a pretty huge screen for games and a video/photo camera. I win.

I bought a Canon S3 IS and am extremely happy with it. Not bad for under $400.

This was a great investment:

I bought this to transfer all my old VHS movies onto DVD. I absolutely love this thing.

I've got a ton of other gadgets, computers, guitar and shits, but nothing that stands out (for me anyway) except maybe my Mac, 52" HDTV with surround, 2,000+ DVD collection and my guitar equipment.

Bio-feedback (fingers only) USB device. It came with a game, but can be programmed also (haven't done so yet).
