Seriously, wtf is wrong with these people that are so fing uninteresting that they post some youtube clone site video without thinking: "Will I forget this in 10 seconds?"
"Hurr, thanks digg ::Copy Digg:: :: Paste LS::"
It's not that hard. Lets take two websites in [a]Q that are prime examples:
-Tasered from 100 ft Away - Hosted on LiveLeak.com
(http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=5eb_1191378481)
Wouldn't you agree that it's much more interesting to actually learn something about this shit? Here's the manufacturer's website (which allows for further browsing, instead of a single fucking page) primarily directed to a keynote speech about upcoming technology (including the projectile XREF:
http://www.taser.com/Pages/VideoDetails.aspx?videoid=62
--Not only does this shows the exact same information, it shows a lot more info plus it has the possibility of continued interaction with the website.
Lets look at a second example from the [a]Q:
-Gnuf's Huge Dice Campaign - They roll some dice down a hill and have you bet on the outcome
http://www.evilchili.com/mediaview/13993/The_Worlds_Greatest_Dice_Roll
What's the benefit to looking at this on "EvilChili.com"? We generate traffic for this shitty video copying site? Again, we have no opportunity to look deeper into the subject and THE ORIGINAL WEBSITE IS MORE INTERESTING!
Gnuf Diceroll homepage:
http://campaign.gnuf.com/diceroll/#page=page_dice&tab=placebet&module=gnuf
This is kind of an annoying trend of diggshitt copy and paste. What's next? We just link to the digg link page?
(Which for the record is this: Digg - Worlds Biggest Dice Roll
From here on if I can find a more interesting version of some Campbell's Condensed Website, I will immediately vote "X - Delete" And then I'll submit the original site myself.
PS - What effect does changing the website have in [a]Q voting? As soon as I changed the site and voted the vote link stayed in my [a]Q. Does the changed link get dropped into everyone elses [a]Q? |

You are not allowed to change the link. Only those with moderator-penis can. |
