i need to re-install XP and i don't have a copy of it. In shopping around i see full versions for $200-$300 (home-professional) and OEM versions for $80-$140).
Anyone know if there is any reason i can't use an oem disk and save myself $160?

Do you know how to use torrents?If so,do a search for XP Pro or Corporate.Make sure you try to find the ETH0 release.You can probably find it by just searching for ETH0.
Their release will be a bootable copy where you can just boot to CD,delete partitions,re-create partitions and your pretty much set.

What I've found works wonders. Goto your local university or public library or public school and use The Magic JellyBean to obtain a working serial for windows.
If not, ebay normally has cheap software.

thanks everyone.
I was able to find an ISO for XP from my company, but no keys. the magical jellybean on my other machine gave me a key.
Im going to give that a shot. That sound right?
