Hello. I spend a lot of time kayaking in Northern Florida's springfed waterways, exploring, and trying to find more undisturbed springs and rivers. I usually bring a camera with me and take pictures. I am by no means a technical photographer. I try to just focus more on getting to the exceptional places and hoping for the best. All of these photos were taken in rivers of north-central Florida, which has the highest concentration of artesian springs in the world. (so I've been told) At any rate, I think its important to note that none of these pictures have been altered in any way and the color is as it was. The fresh water really looks this vibrant and clear. I have tons of em, but here are a just a few.

Some years ago I won a vacation to northern Florida, and wish I knew about this area. Looks like a great place to explore.

What type of camera do you use for those underwater shots?

^ I think he told me it was the Olympus Stylus 720, I know its and Olympus though

Yeah, its an Olympus Stylus 720. Before I had that I would just buy those cheapo waterproof disposables. In all honesty, I think the Olympus takes pretty crumby pictures, but its probably because I don't know what I'm doing. I like it because its so tiny and bulletproof.
This one was with a disposable in shitty light. The greenish cave one and the one looking up out of the water through that mossy hole are, as well.
This is with the Olympus underwater.
