The local Jesus FM stations have been playing commercials for the Christian world's latest foray into planet Earth: a movie called Timechanger about a Bible professor who travels into the future where he learns that without his personal intervention, all sorts of sins will start happening and the race will become totally evil and forlorn.
This movie came out in October, but I never heard of it til now. There's a trailer where we get to see such highlights as the main character inquiring in auntish indignation: "Young lady! Don't you know stealing is a sin?!"
Here's a typical review of the film, found on a Christian forum: "The movie was EXCELLENT, and we all extremely enjoyed the film. However, because of the PG rating, several VERY OFFENSIVE movie trailers were shown before the movie began. My wife and I had to shield our children's eyes, and engage them in conversation during the scripts. We almost had to leave the theater before viewing the film!"
Hahahaha.
The site itself, timechangermovie.com, now points to christianwebsite.com, with a popup ad for a "FREE BOOK!" about selflessness and discipleship that promises to teach you how to become a missionary.
While searching for reviews of this awful, uberpreachy piece of shit media, I was greeted by this popup, which I find amusing.
That's a chick in a bra, right?
I can't even tell any more.

I love the movie dogma...I just picked up the special edition at walmart for like 15 bucks...comes in a sleve, and whan you ake out the DVD case, it looks like a bible...Pretty nifty |
