Kahuna and I were talking a couple months ago and he had this great idea: "Why not give Lownotes his own place on the Swarm to post his writing?" Kind of like http://lownotes.linkswarm.com, only integrated with the rest of the stuff.
So, in lieu of a graceful genesis story, here we are.
This forum is different from the others on LinkSwarm. It serves a very specific goal: think of it as a firehose hooked up to Lownotes' head, a brawny double-sized man-teat at which you may gnaw as your dumb little heart desires.
You'll find that you cannot post new threads in this forum unless you are Lownotes -- that is, David-McRaney, the pseudopseudonym he'll be using to post in here. You can post replies to any existing thread in this forum just like everywhere else, and should.
We'll probably also be linking to new threads in this forum as regular links in the Swarm, to make sure people who ignore the Forums get to enjoy the rich delicious taste of InkSwarm.
More generally, you'll note that there's a new Projex category for this forum, which should be considered a temporary name, as I already kind of hate the one I just came up with. Some of you guys are clever little monkeys, so this kind of creative project-specific forum is something I want to continue doing with worthwhile projects that deserve exposure.

Here's a question.......is it specifically just for literary work or if there's someone that takes photos - on whatever scale, amature to pro - would they be able to submit those as a project?

^ sounds like a photo forum should be had, something along the lines of using the LS uploader for photos...and have it in album form, with an 'add comment' option.

Nope.
I'm thinking it can be a spot where Swarmers who have something really good to display, or collaborate on, can have a little soapbox of their own, with a little more visibility and control than the Journals. InkSwarm is literary because it's Lownote's little piece and he happens to be a writer whose stuff deserves to be featured. It could just as easily be a group software development project or an ongoing series of opera interpretation (thinking big here) or a collaborative music project (like the LinkSwarm Jam, if it ever got its shit together, Dent).
