So, I watched Us vs. John Lennon the other day for the first time and have been tripping on the fact that I feel such an affinity (is that the right word?) to that time. I was incredibly teary-eyed watching all the shit he went through and the great fucking sense of humor he has always had through it all. I mean, just watching footage of that time makes me feel... I can't explain it. The film just evoked many emotions in me.

Bonus: his last words were' "I'm Shot".
I was in Manhattan a few months ago, and made it a point to go see the doorway of the Dakota Apts., where he was shot. I was sad, but then I had a few shots of whisky, and it went away

whiskey does wonders
sometimes I feel so much, it scares me
what is normal, and what is not?
I feel crazy in that way, sometimes
Like I'll end up walking the sidewalks talking to myself someday.
WAIT! I do that NOW! holy shit... |
