Which scenario do you prefer (or is more likely to occur in the forseeable future) and why?
Zombie outbreak or Robot uprising
Discuss.

How about: Skynet become self-aware, uses advanced computer technology to create human-zombie-cyborgs (a la Superman III) and takes over the world.
Linkswarmers survive by uploading their psyches to #megarad and spend eternity making fartmouth jokes.

Robots is more likely.
Zombies is more fun, and more surviveable, lacking as they do infinitely-fast decision-making, lightspeed inter-communication, and inhumanly tough exteriors.

If they ever took ragu marinara sauce off the market there would be an italian zombie force that would reek havoc.

It is. And they all vote conservative.

I hope for robots... I'd like my death to be from a robotic handchop to the neck, or from a laser beam from its arm cannon...
I consider being knocked to the ground having my guts ripped out and neck bitten into while I still live to be less desirable...
Though, I guess if were Zombies then I would have the options of blowing their heads off with shotguns which would be a +1 and if they did happen to kill me, there is always that possibility I could come back as a zombie and get to go after eating Selma Hayek's guts +1
I dunno... It's a toss up for me.... |

I hope it would be robots, it would confirm my suspicions that the computers have had it out for me all along.

God damn that's a hard choice. Either scenario would be fun.
And the possibility of getting killed in the action and becoming either a zombie horde member or a borg-like organism is icing on the cake. |

That's where I get tripped up too. I mean, what is a Zombie's quality of undeath like? If it was pretty good then I'd go with Zombies. If being a Zombie sucked then I'd go with the Robots.

being a zombie hurts. Anyone worth their weight in bullshit knows this. But frankly, I think a good zombie outbreak would really help the world sort it's shit out. maybe we would build robots to hunt down and destroy all of the zombies, but then there's a flaw in the software and the robots start targeting all humanoids and the humans have to destroy all of the robots. that would be cool.

I would prefer a zombie uprising over a robot cause atleast you have a fighting chance and on top of that i could get my name out there kill a few hundred thousand zombies make my self look good and all tough |

I'd rather live through a zombie outbreak, wielding weapons and planning attacks, but the robot uprising would be cooler, and more enjoyable to watch. |

A robot uprising a la Ghost in the Shell or the Animatrix would be cool.
With robots you've got the potential for constant battle evolution. Zombies are formulaic.

A neighbor sent me this story about a newly discovered zombie inducing virus. My first thought was rad, followed by fake and finally disappointment.

Pro Zombie - The blue collar tour would (finally) get new material, "you might be a zombie if..."
Pro-Robot - You could Richard Hatch your way into the upper echelon of human sympathizers and that my friends is how you play the game! |
