after a recent keyboard death, i want to get a decent one instead of some budget piece of shit. i'm quite turned on by the logitech ones with the lcd panel that you can program to display all sorts of shit, wondered if anyone here has any experience with it, and is it any good? basically is it worth paying out over £50 or just get a microsoft ergonmic one?

I had one, piece of shit. But i did have luck with their wireless keyboard / mouse combo. Thought that was great. I used to really like the Microsoft keyboard, but they shrank the keyboard up a year or two ago and it is hard to use now.
My favorite will always be the old metal filled, IBM AT keyboards. I can beat the keys to death.

I have had a Logitech wireless keyboard/mouse combo for a couple of years now and have had no trouble with them.

Logitech G15 rules all keyboards.I recommend a G7 laser mouse to go with it.

i've already got the wireless logitech laser mouse, the mx something or other, which is great, fits nicely in the palm of my hand and pretty precise and responsive, but only when i remember to charge it, but the charge light indicator thing helps.
reckon i'll just blow a wad on the g15 and hope i'll get used to it. thanks for the input.
