I have recently discovered a deplorable group of people who socialize by non competitive races followed by social drinking. They call themselves a "drinking club with a running problem". Anyway, I have joined a couple of hash runs (well, I walk briskly..) and have had a great time.

Apparently this is a word-wide group of associations. Give it a look and if it interests you, maybe you can find a local group near you and get your lame ass away from the PC for a bit...

oh yeah those cats are crazy, I knew one back in the day.
I like the hash part, but sadly I don't think that's what they are all about anymore.

I like the hash part, but sadly I don't think that's what they are all about anymore.
The "hash" is a throwback referring to the quality of the food served to founding members at their rooming house.

yeah they got one of these in san antonio too. the bloke i know who told me about em left his 1000th run cap at my place a while back. haven't been to a run myself tho.

My work keeps me in shape,or at least it allows me to keep the pounds off from the massive amounts of alcohol I consume.I wore one of those pedometers for a few weeks and I suprisingly found out that I walk an average 5.5 miles every day!
While my ass may be lame,I HAVE BUNZ OF STEEL!
