It’s often said that fifty percent of marriages end in divorce. My parents are divorced and the wife’s are not. What’s the divorce rate like among swarmer parents or swarmers themselves?
Edit: The wife and I have been shackin' up for fifteen years.
Great time for some newbs to post!

My parents are divorced 1X each and their second marriages seem to be sticking.
I grew up with 2 brothers and 2 sisters. Now I have 1 brother and 3 sisters.
I have been divorced twice....and am still stupid enough to date. I have a 16 year old son. An only child after I realized that I was breeding with the wrong person.
The stats for my sibs are as follows:
Bill/Andrea; age 42- 1 divorce (currently single) 3 confused kids
Joe; age 40 - 1 divoce, no kids (currently single)
Liz; age 38 - 1 divorce, 1 widowed, 2 long term "common law" marriages and 3 kids (mixed batch from her common law relationships).
Sarah; - married, not breeding (first -2 years)
Are you glad you asked?

HELLKAT? Y HALLO THAR, STRANGER.
My folks were only married to each other, for over 40 years, until my dad died in 1999. Three of my four sisters are married to their respective husbands for many years (my other sister is single).
My wife and I celebrated our 10th anniversary last year, and our marriage gets better with time.

My parents were married for 40+ years, until death did them part. Crystalpipes folks divorced after not many years, but her mother is bi-polar, and it wasn't diagnosed. Her Father is now on his third marriage. We have been married for 6 weeks shy of 10 years, and are yet to have a major fight.

Father divorced my mother and remarried.
Mother remarried several times but has currently been married for 20 years.
I have been divorced once. I cannot recommend it. I am now happily remarried for what will be 7 years this May.
I was stupid and married a batshit crazy cunt when I was 19. I still pay for that mistake.

My parents split after 25 years. My mother got remarried once before she passed and my dad is on his 3rd marriage. I've been married for 5 years to a girl i've known for 18. Took me a LONG time to believe that marriage was really worth anything.

Parents were divorced about 45 years ago. Mother remarried and is still married to my step father. Father married numerous times, some wives I never knew their names since the marraiges only lasted a few minutes.
My sister was married once to a man about 30 years older than she is but is now divorced. Brother is married and seems to be stable. Other brother is escaping the troment of marriage and living happily ever after single.
I have been married and divorced more times than I have had hot dinners.

My mom's first marriage and my dad's second. They are together still and won't be splitting up.
But as for the 2'nd marriage part... I didnt know my pop was married before until I was 20 years old and I overheard him talking to my uncle.
I guess he forgot to mention it

Mother: once divorced, once widowed, and is currently in the "living together" stage...for 13 years (no such thing as "common law" in NY).
Father: twice divorced, many inbetween, and working on the third. I'm sure it won't last much longer; he favors ten-year stints.
It does seem to be a recurring theme that the later you get married the better chance you have of staying together.
How about including the age that swarmers marry?
As for me: never married
age: about to turn 32

I was 28 when I married...my bride was 26. We met at work, but didn't start dating for a year and a half. When I first asked her out, she said yes. But then the next day she came into my office and called it off, saying she didn't think it was a good idea for co-workers to date. A few months went by and she seemed to have a change of heart--and she asked me out.
And the rest is history...
