For anyone who likes extreme cinema, check out this very well informed list of the "top ten sickest movies ever made".

Ive seen them all except Murder Set Pieces and Salo, which i wont watch because it has nasty shit involving kids which is even too far for me.
"AU Mordum" is a challenge for anyones desensitised appetites, and is truly too awful to even begin to explain. Its probably worth checking out the first one "August Underground" before even bothering to try and handle this.
Aftermath is definately worth checking out, its nasty, sure, but its an amazing experience that forces you to contemplate your own death, and therefore your life. Its also shot beautifully and looks absolutely amazing.
These might not be to many peoples taste, but i thought the Swarm was a sure place as any to have people interested in the super-extreme wing of cinema.
You can find some of these on torrents,i used Emule to obtain the more obscure of them.
A good site worth checking out is http://www.dead-donkey.com. They have ample ED2K links to just about every extreme horror film thats ever been made.

i've seen audition and ichi the killer. caught parts of irreversible. i have, but haven't watched cannibal holocaust and tetsuo the iron man.
Flower of Flesh and Blood: The film itself is fairly simple: a creepy Japanese dude in a samurai suit (don’t ask us) kidnaps a girl, drugs her, ties her to a bed, and slowly cuts her to pieces. That’s it, that’s the whole movie.
i'm kinda impartial to "extreme cinema" (do the dew). if something sounds interesting, i'll check it out, but i can't see how some of these on the list would appeal to me. special effects are cool and all, but a film they do not make.

Flowers of Flesh and Blood is actually pretty lame, and out of that list thats the one that is most hyped/misunderstood. Charlie Sheen took a copy of it to the FBI thinking it was real, which doesnt say a lot for his intelligence given that you'd have to be a complete dumb cunt to think that was real. The sound effects are pure comedy.
August Underground and Mordum are so unbelievably real, if someone gave you a copy on a worn-out VHS tape and told you not to tell anyone, theres no chance you'd know it wasnt real.
I guess the point of most of these films is to be extreme, and purely that. Id imagine every filmmaker wants to do "the most" and be the best at their particular genre or ideology, and Fred Vogel wins hands fucking down for pure evil sickness. How AUM was ever allowed to be released is beyond me, and i have no doubt that it could potentially be a VERY damaging and corrupting piece of art, especially when it blurs the lines between fiction and reality so convincingly. But i guess once you've seen a woman be raped and puked on for half an hour and the dead body of a young girl be raped in a bathtub, you've seen the upper limits of depravity. And where else is there to go after that?
