So this is inevitable, but rather than list every single thing that everyone got, what is the one thing that means the most to you?

Since my parents are divorced I open mom's presents on Christmas Eve with my brother and my stepdad. So far my favorite isn't even a big deal, but I always like the presents with the most thought in them. I saw "Real Genius" for the first time a few months ago with my mom, and at one point Chris Knight has a shirt that says "I (heart) Toxic Waste." I thought it was funny, but I had forgotten about it. Well my mom told my brother to get it for me. I guess I'm basically a sentimental faggot when it comes to gifts.

So I don't know if I'll like something better that I open today, but that already beat $200 in Ikea gift cards.

I got a Grateful Dead scrapbook and a 22 oz bottle Of Rogue Dead Guy Ale from my weif's brother.

Simple, yet very touching.

My best present was happy, well-behaved children and a ( for once ) sober mother-in-law at dinner.
Of material things, my bottle of Nelson County Bourbon comes close. But the hangover it will cause will be the worst present.

My wife bought me a VCR/DVD burner combo to transfer all my old home movies from when I was a kid to DVD. I thought that was a nice thought.

I received many things, mostly electronic, expensive, and totally bragable.

However, the best gift was watching the delight on my 7 year old's face as she opened her loot. For the hour or so it took her to shred through all the wrapping paper, I was transported back to the time when I myself was a child. The wonder, the magic, the anticipation and the shear joy of being a kid. It was beautiful.

Also, I got an antique brass doorknocker engraved with my surname from the girls. I hung it on our door with great pride this morning.

Tis true... Its not so much a sandwich maker... as a sandwhich cutter/griller in one...

You see... Have you ever wanted to fill two peices of bread with cool food items... then have them toasted and somehow converted into triangle pocket formation??

Well this is what my Xmas present helps me achieve... Triangle Pocket Goodness...

I got lots of cool stuff, but the best gift is the Carhardt hooded jacket I received.

Following that are the adjustable workbench and the dremel tool, both of which have already been put to good use.

The bottle of Gentleman Jack was a pleasant surprise, but the absolute best was a hat I received from my kids that says "Best Dad."

Dumbskull: I got a Get of Hellcard and funds for travel to do so.

Huh?

This year it would probably be the ROBOCOP Trilogy DVD set. I'm totally stoked on the UNRATED version of ROBOCOP. I didn't think the movie could get more violent. I was wrong. Awesome!

i bought myself a Nintendo WIi for xmas

My daughter got plenty of cool stuff from the wife and I, our families, my ex, her family. She got plenty of stuff, TOO much in fact.

She wanted to give me a xmas present too, so she went into my office and came out with one of my PC game instruction manuals. She gave that to me for xmas, and it was the cutest thing i'd ever seen
