I just got back from FL, and have a new favorite golf mecca - Reunion Resort. Right now there are 2 courses open, a Palmer design and a Watson design. The LPGA's biggest purse event was played there last season. They are by far the BEST conditioned courses I have ever been on, coupled with great layouts and both are very aesthetically pleasing. Not to mention, I ripped up the Palmer course (I shot 75 - par 72, with 2 three-putts and a double on a 140 yard par 3 - but got beat like a drum - my cousin shot 66). You can only get on if you are a resort resident or guest (or have some connections - which luckily I had), but if you get the chance to play there, it's highly recommended.

also, frisbee golf.
There are 3 frisbee golf parks here in Madison, One of them is free, the others you have to play fast and run when the park nazis show up. There are 'pro' tournies here too.
Frisbee golf fucking pwns. I got $50 invested in discs, that makes me an amatuer around here.
