I cannot believe I’ve gone this long without The D in my life! JB and KG have a new Tenacious D movie coming out November 22nd called Pick of Destiny and I’m completely stoked. I almost forgot how insane these guys were.

If nothing else, TD is semi-entertaining.

However, this movie will probably suck goatballs except for around 20 minutes of "Funny", just like their other movie.

This is why I am introducing a bill into the House to restrict TD to music videos of no more than 20 minutes.



The 20 minutes bit is important. Because god help us if they pull a "The Wall" on us and ruin cinema for good.

I watched the other night and laughed a few times. It was really a straight-to-video kind of movie.

Odd note: Dave Grohl played Satan in the film.

I lol'd. It reminded me of the good times with my old band.


critical note - if the movie had maintained the stylistic thing that the beginning back story part had, all 60's rock opera style, it would have been much better
