Remeber? Richard "Lowtax" Kyanka of somethingawful was slated to fight Uwe Boll, that ultra-shitty movie director, in a series of fights to which Uwe invited some of his more serious critics.
Just had the fight (Saturday). I missed it, as I didn't know it was going on. Lowtax was "knocked out" in the first round; apparently it was a TKO and not a real knockout, so he's fine I'm sure. The (horrible) announcer claims that he "didn't put up much of a fight," which was Lowtax's plan (he didn't train, didn't prepare, didn't plan on really giving him a good fight). Lowtax will be in Uwe's adaptation of "Postal," and on the IMDB page, he is listed higher than Verne Troyer (mini me) so I guess that's some kind of accomplishment? Lowtax was the first fight.
Second fight was some other dude, I don't know. I saw the end of the second round, Uwe basically kicked his ass and they threw in the towel after a couple of lousy punches basically knocked the loser off his feet.
Apparently there is a 17 year old slated to fight; he's only 155 pounds or so, smaller than Uwe, but is actually an amateur fighter and the only one of the group with any experience. Supposedly this is really the only fighter that could maybe put up a fight.
In between the fights are these abysmal martial arts demonstrations from Cobra Kai (Karate Kid?!?!).
Third fight over in the second round, the guy got a few good shots in but Uwe knocked his ass down a few times before he gave up. Also, the boxers wear headgear, but Uwe doesn't. They also are all wearing sleeveless t-shirts.
The 17 year old amateur gave up in the first round, Uwe seemed as though he wanted to make sure that that fight didn't get away from him.
Thanks for putting this together. I didn't realize it was coming up so soon.
I think the video stream is being clobbered by thousands of excitable goons; I can't get in at the moment.
