A friend of mine had her Yahoo ID pirated. Whoever did it changed her password and security questions and stuff.
I've heard that there are a few ways to steal her ID back but can't find any info on it.
Any one have any suggestions?

To say it was "pirated" means it was probably socially engineered. That is to say: was her password "password", or was it her username, or her birthdate, or something guessable? A friend of mine had one of those and someone "hacked" into her myspace account. It's more likely a person with five free minutes decided to be a dickhead. In which case, she's shit out of luck, I think. Sorry. |
