Im a recent graudte with a geek powers (Internet Computing) degree, and ive been putting off gettin a job as ive dedicated myself to my new lab project: SubTags.com

My site is a quirky new way to discuss subjects of any kind and keeping it to the point. By Tagging them! Users can also rate Subjects and associated SubTags, as well as discuss and earn points for interacting. For my plug could you please link to the following page of content.

Ill quit rambling and let you's check out:

Paris Hilton! Lets Tag Her. Men and Women, what we think?
Tom Delonge, Mark Hoppus or Travis Barker?
Jack Bauer! Too cool for school or American fool?
+Loads more! View All Subjects!

All feedback appreciated...
Cheers all

No.

Much like you used fancy HTML coding to mark up what appears to be broken English in your original post, the site itself looks like a bunch of interesting technology wrapped around a lame idea. A solution in search of a problem, if you will.

Why would anyone want to tag the random little bits of content you have up? In return for points? Points for what? It looks like drudgery to me. Maybe if you keep farming out that work, you'll eventually have a directory of some kind, though its usefulness would be in question.

Experimental guess at what you're eventually going for: user wants to find all pictures associated with the term 'figging'. User loads up your site, tosses in a search string for 'figging'. This results in X00 pictures tagged by users as 'figging'. Now what? I can see some minor improvements over Google Image Search, but it'd be a long hard road.

Also, I find the CSS horrid.

Thing is, i really hate disliking sites that have obviously been put together with some skill and forethought, but I think it's quite a weak concept for a site (although you can't be faulted for trying something a bit different).

Good skills but I think you need a different project.

Oh and I hate slide-in menus; it looks like something you've bolted on as an afterthought.

After looking over your jumbled mess of conflicting fonts and text sizes the only thing I'm happy about is that you didn't use color.

That said, you get some props for your hard work. I really appreciate your effort even though your site is ugly and your concept is inane.

You have the technical ability. I suggest you find a partner with some imagination.

I award no cowbell. May Dog have mercy on your soul.
