Jersey Girl was a steaming cesspool of film shit, Kevin Smith still owes me $8.50 for that movie...
ANYWAY. I just got back from seeing it and I must say, I was satisfied. Classic Kevin Smith goodness. A little more gross-out humor in this one than previously, but still does the job. It was a good return to the good-old-days of the Jersey Trillogy and Dogma -- plus the opening shows a brief clip of the Evil Clown that gave me nightmares as a child.

Just saw it here in sunny California (which is hot as balls at the moment), and I have to say...it was pretty good. Before I went, I read a review that said it was as funny as the first one, and although I'm not sure that I agree, it was very funny. If it isn't equivalent to the first, it's close. |

I loved it, did a great job at being a sequel to a great movie ... a little more mass appeal put into the overall job, but I think he more than made up with it in the shock-effect type humor. |

Black and white film would've been a bold move , like the original . Although Kevin Smith maxing out his credit card to get the first film made , among other things and running on a shoestring budget made the first Clerks a little sweeter . Not bad ...but . The original was a classic.
