A 13-year-old girl attending an NHL game in Ohio was struck by a hockey puck after a slapshot by Espen Knutsen was deflected by a defenseman. The puck struck her on the left side of the forehead, glanced off and hit a near-toothless old country dude on the right side of his head, then ricocheted off that and struck a small girl sitting behind him.
The 13-year-old, Brittanie Cecil, held a jacket to her wound to staunch the bloodflow and walked out. Two days later, she died, apparently from a rare arterial injury.
"It's a miserable day," coach Bill Deleranko said. "I figure that God's crying along with us."
Now that shows a frightening 'understanding' of causality.

Yea...thats why you dont take your eyes off the puck. They freeze those things before the game, so gettin hit in the head with one will probably give you brain damage...or kill you.
