I'm getting a lot of bounces on the link approval/rejection mails because the email addresses some of you have are old.
Also, when we move over to LS engine v2.0 -- which I'm making some very decent progress with, but don't tell anyone -- your email address is going to be crucial in letting your user account transition over and retain your post history, etc.
Do this now. It'll take about 4 seconds.

A good question. The place hosting it had a calamitous data crash of one sort or another. I could recreate it, but there were so many settings and intoxicating little bits to tweak that I hesitate to do it.
Let's make this a change-your-email-address-and-tell-me-if-you-think-the-mailing-list-is-worth-it thread.
I have had a couple of worthwhile retard-bitching-about-rejected-link emails that I wanted to send to the list, and could not. :WOTAK:

I enjoyed the flailing rejection response emails that came thru on the mailing list. On the other hand, the SFW attention whore thing got a little tiresome.

For a while I had an automated routine that would send the five top daily links around, and if I got a particularly worthwhile rejection asshat, I would CC the list on the email thread. Every so often someone would have something interesting and random to impart. From Jan 2004 to August 2005 there were roughly 430 messages.
Email's kind of nifty because you can ignore it til you're ready to deal with it and then you have your own copy and don't have to go digging through a bunch of threads to find it. It was a little more intimate than a forum thread, too -- you have a very clear idea of the audience.
Once I turned off the automated thing, there was probably an average of 3 emails a week on it... until SFW subscribed. (I think he's better now.)
I'll probably revive it at some point. I've still got data-crash notice in my inbox, which is about the only TODO list I really have. I just have to find two or three hours to screw with it.
