For a while there one of the biggest traffic vectors were people searching Google for linkswarm.com. They weren't even searching for 'linkswarm'. They'd type 'linkswarm.com' into Google and grab the first hit... which was, of course... linkswarm.com.

Easier to do the other way around. I've started threads generating the most forum posts -- 3548 posts. Second is Kahuna with 1483 replies. Third is Ghostrider with 1089.
The inverse is even less interesting, because it comprises a bunch of people most of us have never heard of.

Also, if I get you right, most people don't log out every night and then log in every morning -- the cookie stays good for some lengthy period of time which I can't recall off the top of my head but is certainly weeks. But there are a core of about 250-300 registered nigs that come around at least once every three days.
