just watched this over the weekend.

good "coming of age"-type movie would probably be the best way to describe it.

it's about a boy who, at 17, still sucks his thumb as an involentary habit. it's about his last year at high school, and with him dealing with this habit. very well done, all the characters are interesting and your perception on them changes throughout the movie.

i really enjoyed it. polyphonic spree did the soundtrack, giving it an interesting feel.

keanu reeves has a small role, as does the girl who was the white wtich in narnia. (was she also gabriel in contantine?)

anyway, its out on dvd and the internets, so if you find it, check it out.

Never heard of it. Did it ever get to the big screen or straight to DVD?

i don't remember seeing in the theaters here, but then again, i haven't really been paying much attention to them anyway lately.

it probably played for a week or two in the arthouse theaters, then swiftly went to dvd, just like a lot of other limited release films. (other possibility: went to the fetsivals, then to dvd)

i do remember hearing about it a while back earlier in the year, when the polyphonic spree sent out an email announcing it's release and their involvement. i didn't have the motivation to seek it out then, but easy downloading makes motivation unneccesary.

I know the star of that movie. He's REALLY good at card tricks. We used to call him Loudini.
