List of Ingredients

18 ounces rib eye or eye roll steak, frozen -- thinly sliced
2 tablespoons butter
1 medium onion -- cut in thin wedges (optional / recommended)
1/2 small green pepper, cut into strips (optional)
11 ounces cheddar cheese soup or cheese sauce
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup water
1 teaspoon Worcestershire
1-1/2 cups toasted bread cuts (about 1 inch)
salt and pepper -- to taste

Recipe

Cut each sandwich steak into 1/2-inch strips. In 2-quart saucepan over medium heat, in hot butter, cook onion and green pepper until tender, stirring occasionally. Add steak strips. Cook until meat is browned, stirring often. Stir in soup. Gradually stir in milk, water and Worcestershire.
Heat through. Serve topped with toasted bread cuts

Ah a canned soup recipe--those are a snap and a gateway into very difficult, painfully slow and annoying cookery.

Take that soup can apart, you find extra sodium and not enough cheese--now you say sauce, and I believe in it, but seriously who we kidding?

Here is a basic cheese soup recipe:

butter + onions--let those bastards suffer in the boiling milkfat, they tried to make you cry, make them pay with their lives!
add flour to make it a roux and thicken it up, along with pepper and salt...
Then add milk and chicken/vegtable stocks--boil it up. lower the heat and add yer cheese. don't boil the cheese, let it slowly melt like you would in a hot tub with too much champagne and a pair of hookers....

so that's my only gripe/addiition. I think you really have the soup recipe there and are adding some canned crap to it to make up for something [salt?] which I am certain you can do without if you experiement enough.

oh and what I am suggesting probably adds like 20-30 minutes of prep. time to the meal, but it's basically there already, heck maybe just replace the water with stock and double the cheese or something whacky like that. I know its in there.
