Or we could condense them all into one big category -- Stuff -- and then have a few other helper categories like Other Stuff and Stuff That Doesn't Fit Into The Other Ones. Just in case.

I wouldn't mind a few new ones added, but overall I think the current ones still work fine. On a scale of 1 to 10 of importance, this ranks about .5 for me.

Can't think of any others though, or any that could be removed. And I don't see why the list should be condensed at all, more choice leads to more accurate posting ( except from the idiots who dump everything into animation 'cos it's first on the list ).

trickbear does have a point. There have been many times when a link I'm submitting doesn't fit into any of the categories. So I have to make do with whats there.
What about the following
* computer mods / appliance mods
* death related
* ghey movie dump movies
* conspiracy
etc.
C00l is a very broad category and I find it used too often.
