Alright all you computer nerds, I have a question for you...
When you run, dxdiag to see your specs (atleast that's how I always do it)...
What does Page File mean???
And how do you get more of it???
Thanks!!!

A page file is an allotment of harddrive space set aside to be used as "memory" by a program or an OS. It's like RAM but slower because it's reading and writing to the hard drive.
Windows calls it a page file, Linux calles it a Swap partition.
I think you can increase the virtual memory in Windows to make the page file bigger.
But if you have more RAM, you won't need a bigger page file.
If any of this is wrong, I'm sure a moar L33T3r Swarmer will correct me.
Google for increasing virtual memory and xp page files... shit like that.
Neverming my fucktarded typos.

You page file is your graphics memory. Most video cards have the pagefile turned down because the power supply is set on energy saver mode. To fix this you'll find a little switch next to where you plug the power cord in your computer box.
Flick that switch and if you've got a new model video card it should auto detect the change and give you m0ar p0w3r!!!

Right click on My Computer
Go to Properties
Click the Advanced Tab
Click Settings next to Performance
Click the Advanced tab again
Look at the bottom of this box and you will see Pagefile
Click Change to change it to wtf ever you want.
DO THIS AFTER YOU TRY QWERTY`S METHODS!!

Do you mean the voltage tab? If so, my comp goes retarded when I do that. Help me qwerty! (or anyone)

it's c00l man. Just keep it on. The computer has to get used to the extra volts.
Remeber kids more electricity = m0ar power.
That's why apple is switching to intel proccessors, because they couldn't design an energy efficient power pc proccess that could clock 2ghz.
When I did it to my last computer I found it helped to open and close the cd draw while it was trying to boot.

Not if you add a few extra grounding plugs that you can buy at your local computer shop.

over-volting does not even remotely involve switching the voltage input on your power supply.
why anyone would listen to qwerty is completely fuking beyond me.

- how much ram do you have?
- how big is the swap file, currently?
- how much disk space do you have free?

Typically, you would set your page file to double the RAM you have, if you're having problems.
Ignore the windows warnings about changing this setting may fuxors your system, blah, blah blah... I went through this shit back in my Win9x days when I was learning to record audio on a PC.
This still may not be your problem.
Can you give MOAR details about exactly whet you're trying to fix?
You know, the symptoms and shit.
Are you making tweeks for gaming?
If so, what's the game?
What's the card?
Is the computer home built or an off the shelf model?
Troubleshooting a computer for somebody over the net requires shitloads of information. The moar the bettar.
You have Mundra and myself interested. Better feedback before we both lose interest.

It's for gaming, BF2 to be exact...
And I have a Radeon 9800 Pro, with a 2.4 processer...
The comp is originally store bought, but then added on to...

Not enough info bud.
What's the problem?
What's the symptoms or errors?
What's the comp's make and model number?
What, exactly, have you added to this computer?
Edit:
Did you buy this game or are you wasting our time because you wanted a freebee but don't want to learn how to haxor it into halfass working order?

Two suggestions:
1-Google for answers.
Don't waste my fucking time just because you want a few moar fps.
2-Fuck off.
If you want to be the leet gamer boi, READ, STUDY, LEARN and APPLY.
Start here: EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW
Now fuck off and learn shit for yourself.

aren't you all just kicking yourselves now. You should have let him overvolt his system.
Speaking of which maybe if you set your screen refresh rate(display/properties/settings/advanced/screen refresh rate) to max it might make the game look better.
But really if you want a game like BF2 to look better you have a decent system except for the ram. Think about putting another gb in it as it should improve the perforemance and the almighty pagefile without all the dodgy software run around. I don't know about you but I think RAM data transfer (~5gb/s) is an improvement of lots to the average harddrive data transfer(150mb/s or 320mb/s for scsi) which is basically what you're using when you increase the virtual memory size.
