TheOrderLeader: It's for gaming, BF2 to be exact...

And I have a Radeon 9800 Pro, with a 2.4 processer...

The comp is originally store bought, but then added on to...

looks 'alright' except for ram. get at least 1GB of the fastest ram your motherboard will support (probably more like 1.5GB). virtual memory won't do shit for quick performance. it's a crutch that helps you get where you're going, but it isn't pretty. you can get a gig of decent ddr 3200 for around $90. that should be fine for stock settings. i suggest you go to some enthusiast forums if you want to know more about computers. especially if you want to overclock (i personally don't bother). you will want to sell the ram you have to fund the new ram purchase, since ram (also ide channels) only runs as fast as the slowest piece (i.e. don't use both). you could also try cranking down the eye candy, maybe.

wotak: READ, STUDY, LEARN and APPLY

i can't believe i'm agreeing with wotak.

qwerty: BLAHBLAHBLAHFAGGOTFAGGOTFAGGOTBLAHBLAHBLAH

Dude. This is the Tech forum. Perhaps you could confine your dickheadedness to Random Madness? The guy shouldn't have to wade through 15 fuktarded Qwerty posts to get to the good stuff others are writing for him.

sofickingwat: I am just testing here. THnaks.

Test in here, spazz.

Hey Fastlane, welcome to Electronics 101. As it applies to Power Supply Units

TheOrderLeader: Mundhra & Wotak have dispensed some excellent advice. Stick w/listening to them on this issue, and you should be fine.

My point exactly.

Windows had to increase virtual memory when I used Nero to burn DVDs, so I increased it from 768 MB to 1536 MB with no problems.

This is how to do it.
Right click on My Computer

Go to Properties

Click the Advanced Tab

Click Settings next to Performance

Click the Advanced tab again

Look at the bottom of this box and you will see Pagefile

Click Change to change it to wtf ever you want.
