I have had this event marked on the calendar for weeks. Hopefully the weather will be nice on Friday evening for a nice fireworks show.

Sounds Sweet. Although I live in the city, I've got a great view of the river valley in town, and there aren't many lights to mess up my observing.
I may even take a lawnchair up to the roof for this.
