I just found out that the Cronicles has a third movie now... and i may be a little late in finding this out... any one seen it?

David Twohy envisioned Pitch Black as the first of three movies, but he wasn't sure the other two would get greenlighted.
(Universal didn't sign the two surviving chiks for a 3 pic deal so he had to write in a big gap between movies, it hurt the continuity)
When he turned in the first draft of the script, he had leather binders made up that said Pitch Black, and the executive's name stamped in gold down in the right hand corner, and he put a lock on it. A week before he turned in the script, he sent them the key. The key said, 'This is the key that will open the doors to untold myth and riches' or some shit
Twohy also sent two more locked scripts, what we know as The Chronicles of Riddick and the third installment. The whole time they were listening to the PB pitch they were itching to get at the other 2 scripts.
Twohy> FUK YOU DUDES, YOU HAVE NO KEY.
After they made Pitch Black, he sent them key #2.
After Riddick, Key #3
AND KNOW YOU KNOW THE REST OF THE STORY!

Nifty idea, but it's not as if whatever shitty lock could be placed on a binder couldn't be picked or broken with trivial effort.
It would seem Mr Twohy's problems securing his scripts are the same as filming them: he didn't think his clever idea all the way through.
