The probe widens...AGAIN?
This thing has more twists and turns and revelations and denials and lies than a fuking soap opera. Also read something (that I can't find now) stating that the prosecutor could be preparing as many as 22 indictments.

Vasudeva asked me to update this thread. I protested, because it's like trying to summarize a freakish amalgam of Days of our Lives, Crisis on Infinite Earths and every Oliver Stone movie ever made. However, because I hate to see our boy stumble through life as an ignant mcnugget, I went and found the following links. These are lengthy and still not really simple, but should provide a good background in advance of the titanic golgothan shit bomb that will detonate in DC any day now:

The notes also contain no suggestion that Cheney or Libby knew at the time of their conversation of Plame's undercover status or that her identity was classified, the paper said.
The Times quoted lawyers involved in the case as saying they had no indication Fitzgerald was considering charging Cheney with a crime.
This actually appears to be positive for the Plamegate burglars.

Unless you've been living under a rock, you now know that Scooter Libby, Vice President Cheney's chief of staff, was Miller's source that Plame worked at the CIA. And you know that Karl Rove, President Bush's top political adviser, was a source who confirmed that fact for Cooper.
But how do you know?
An interesting editorial, ridiculing the media (esp. Miller/Cooper) for double-standards re protecting confidential sources.
