--LOki's recon of the event grounds--
Provided by the campground is:
- Ground - upon which to pitch your tent
- A fire pit - whith in which you put your fire
- A faucet on a post - at which you are getting water
- A bathroom & shower hut - for no fuking reason
Within the camp ground is a store where they extort the fuck out of you for:
- Soap
- Shampoo
- Toothpaste
- Toothbrushes
- Plates
- Dinner ware
- Cookware
- Sleeping bags
- candy
- ice
- Foods related to cheese wiz.
- matches
Just outside the campground are a few general type stores who extort you less for the above items, but also carry the following:
- FIRE WOOD (2nd to last before the campgroung seemed to be the best deal.)
- smoeks
- beers
- actual food
- actual food you did not burn to a crisp on the fire (diners!!!!)
So if you forget shit, and cannot borrow from or depend upon the collective, capitalism will rape your ass, yetallow you to survive.

I have an unknown number of fags driving up with me, too.
I assume the SBP. Probably gothmog. Probably Clavis and wife. Not chex, though. He turned queer and now stays at home. (Foreseeable.)

if you're expecting potable water from the faucet on the post, you might do well to bring a brita pitcher or some similar filtering device. i say this not because i'm familiar with wellesly, but rather because i've learned the hard way at similar sites.

I have a tent that sleeps 4 comfortably, 6 crowded and 8 or 10 if some of them are passed out and can be shoved into the corners. Also have a couple extra sleeping bags and some blankets. And some cookery stuff and an ice chest or two.
We'll probably head up thursday afternoon or early friday morning. I'm not sure room we'll have for riders but we could probably squeeze a couple in if some one needs a ride.

I REALLY wanted to go this time and it would have been great to pick you up on the way; but my 30th b-day actually falls on the 14th so I have some friends flying in to hang over the weekend. If you want to come down to lauderdale you can join in the BBP5.2 south florida annex celibration.

It looks like we could use Steel's extra large tent. How "extra large" is it? How many will it sleep? How big is it (your TEST nig, not your erection) The campground specifies up to 6 peeps per campsite.
Misc cooking stuff. We'll toss some firewood in the trunk and try to scrounge a cooking grate from the compound here. I don't know what azron was thinking when he said we could give 1 or 2 people a ride. I have a small trunk and with gear we very likely might not have room for passengers. Nonetheless, we will be heading out of Northern NJ on I80 West and straight North on I81. If you need a ride, PM me and we can see.

i honestly wish i could have afforded to come. i had a fuckin ball at 5.1 and was looking forwar to 5.2 (ask my faggot friends i bragged about it to them). it actually really pisses me off i now have to wait till next summer or whatnot.
edit: the cheapest i can find is $217 which if i can afford will be a miracle. ill let you know

I'm too fucking lazy to read a whole thread. How far from CT, and it starts on a Thurs? I can be there for at least a day as I'm off Fridays, possibly raquest a Saturday off. It could be good to get out in the woods with a bunch of strangers and drink till I puke, haven't done that since college. So it looks like I need to send at least four bottles of wine (six would be better; 2 white, 4 red), six cigars, a round of chocolate, and some smoked fish.
You guys need to remember citronella candles for when the cigars wear off and the bugs come back, flashlights (because nobody ever remembers enough), and some kind of crackers for the fish.

Syracuse is about 3.5 hours from Hartford, all highway. 91N to Springfield, then take Mass Pike left until you hit exit 36, then you call my cell. If you get here, you can ride up with or alongside us. We're leaving Thursday a little after noon.
If you want to make a straight shot, I forgot the number of hours. It's between 2 and 4 north of here. Wellesley Island, NY.

My tent will easily sleep 4...maybe more... Its 8x8 I think...
I will also bring a camping stove (not a BBQ) and some other camping shit... I have those tiki torches... But no inserts for them... Maybe LK and I can pick some up... |
