I saw on CNN where 78 per cent of peopel thought his speach was scarey in stead of reassuring. a laot of people are starting to think he has no exit policy. And even his supporters are strat to doubt him.
That's so cool

I can't find that:
(CNN) -- A CNN/USA Today/Gallup poll of Americans who watched President Bush's Iraq speech Tuesday night showed that 46 percent had a "very positive" reaction to what they heard.
The poll was taken immediately after the speech, and the 323 adults interviewed were 50 percent Republican, 23 percent Democratic and 27 percent independent. The margin of error was plus or minus 6 percentage points.
Can you link to what you were looking at?
In other news, a Google Image search for "flag burning" shows almost no identifiably American protestors burning an American flag: just heaps and heaps of brown-skinned evildoers.
You'd think it was illegal or something.

from the speech, as relative to this.
"Iraqi forces have fought bravely – helping to capture terrorists and insurgents in Najaf, Samarra, Fallujah, and Mosul. "
"To complete the mission, we will continue to hunt down the terrorists and insurgents."
"Today Iraqi Security Forces are at different levels of readiness. Some are capable of taking on the terrorists and insurgents by themselves."
"We are building up Iraqi Security Forces as quickly as possible, so they can assume the lead in defeating the terrorists and insurgents."
emphasis added. this new terrorist/insurgent distinction is designed to allow them to continue talks with iraqi rebels while still allowing them to say "we do not negotiate with terrorists". we are expected to forget that last week there was no difference.

also, terry moran on abc reported that the only time bush got applause was when a 'white house advance team member' started clapping to cajole the soldiers into clapping. fwiw.

I think Tango was refering to the Quick Vote on the CNN homepage. I think the Question refered to how reasuring you found the Iraq plan. I recall that 78% thought it was "scarey"
