One of the profs where I work is looking for a digital voice recorder. She would like to record her lectures and post them on her web site. Can anybody recommend something? Thanks for any advice. m-a-m

one of the Doctors that i used to work with had a little sony unit that was USB and you could add flash memory to it if you needed to. http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B0001YFYKG/102-5784364-5608903
worked well for her, she was dictating a book on it last i knew. i think the format may natively be mp3. but i'm not 100% sure. and only for 89 bux, not too bad i'd figure. |

My MP3 player the XClef HDD800 does voice recording. You have to sit close the front of the room to pick up the lecturer's that don't think they need to wear mics.It records straight into mp3.
Oh and you can stream the mic in using line in and output it straight away. Plug a mic straight into it and run the output into the mic port and you've got instant Mp3's from lecture.

Oh MAN! You must use that fuker to record yourself in various Bouncer-like situations at your place of employment and post them on LS. That would be extraordinary. |

I'd like to post the old audio tape of Tim Leary's lecture that I attended on Valentine's Day a few years before he died. Its still on cassette tape, and needs to be shared.
