Booty Project is hosting five whole pages of incredible stuff: cosplay images.
Cosplay is apparently short-hand for "costume play," which is this breathtakingly aberrant behavior wherein fans dress up as their favorite anime characters and try to be someone else for a few hours. It makes for some seriously sick footage as we see the pimple-faced Columbine candidates try to evaluate their shock potential by dressing up as "spooky" characters and giving strangers their best evil eye.
First, a few highlights for my dead homeys:

i would suck out their souls and put them out of their collective misery. however, such obvious self loathing would give me indigestion.
on another note, i never really got into anime that much. my new roommate is big into it, though, and, surprisingly he's normal. or at least passes for it. we watched this 3 dvd set he has from a tv show called berserk. it's... fucking awesome. i would so get cable again if i could watch that shit over here. excellent artwork, a wonderful story, and a guy with a sword as long as his body beheading a rider and his horse at the same time. |

It's people like this that gave D&D a bad name years ago. I guess there's at least one thing I learned from this link. Even idiots can be fairly hot sometimes.

True... idiots can be hot.
There's one girl in there in particular who displays a frightening psyche... this one. Look at the outfit. Look at the parted lips, and the arms raised faux-silent-movie damsel-in-distress style. Now, I'm pretty sure this is the same girl whose site I ran across in one of those random gleeful moments a few years ago; she had a few hundred such pictures littered around her site, most of which were almost soft porn[1]. Yet the text on her site discussed her virginal lifestyle, her boyfriend whom she loved very much, and how she was waiting to get married before riding the beef rocket. I say there's some conflict there[2].
[1] The dirty secret of my own is that I've had about twenty images of her cached away since I found her site in a directory half-jokingly titled "Silly Costume Girl Pr0n." Here are a few snippets: 1, 2, 3, and 4. Same girl? You decide.
[2] There is, however, no conflict in me. In direct refutation of her denial of sexual purpose, I pull those images out about once a month and have a mad whack[3].
[3] Er, just kidding.
