Since I've been out of work I have found the joy of e-books on usenet. Only problem is that a lot of them are in yEnc format and stupid Outlook doesn't decode yEnc, so I have a good dozen or more sitting on my drive that I can't read. My question to you all is what is the best free newsreader out there that will do yEnc? Remeber free or being able to get me a free copy is key here, and Mozilla says nothing about yEnc support. |

Back in the day when USENET was a big piece of my daily timewasting, Forte Agent was a serious favorite. I'll bet it's still one of the best newsreaders and definitely has yEnc support.
As I recall, there's an extremely decent free version, too.
