Thinking about the definition of terrorist... The punk kids that knock over my garbage bin terrorise me, and to them I am striking terror into their hearts when I beat them with a stick. None of us a muslim.

Wow,forgot I posted this.

Anyways,this was something that was brought up to me one
night and kind of got me to thinking.That is not very far from
the truth.Seriously think about it.
I know that there are more terrorists in the world other than
muslims.Barch97 pointed that fact out to me.Fucked up

I agree that they are in the majority at this point in time, but it fluctuates. Go back to the good old days of the '70s and most of them were European and Japanese. Groups like the Red Army Faction and Baeder-Meinhopf were dropping planes like ducks on season opening day. Ok, they were hijacking them and dropping them on their wheels in places like Lybia, but you get the point. They even hijacked a bloody ocean liner and killed an American citizen ( the Achille Lauro). Virtually the only Muslim group was the PLO and they, like the IRA, have now been around long enough to have political clout and legitimacy.

I think identifying terrorists is much easier when you have a sane definition to refer to:

Argument doesn't hold up. Al-Queda is, lets not forget, the remnant of an Afghanistan network the CIA helped create. Same with the Taliban. If Hussein gassing "his own people" is terrorism, then Somoza firebombing his own people is too, Suharto killing 750,000 also is, and Pinochet dissapearing thousands is too. They all did it with out help, Hussein included. They aren't all muslims. State-sponsored terrorism is most definitely a multi-cultural sport.
As for other forms of terrorist just remember the OK city bombing and our whole gigantic hard right-wing milita movement, the Basques, Northern Ireland, and shitloads of other examples.
Every muslim is a terrorist because our government and our media aren't interested in looking at it any other way. Thats why when chemical weapons get seized in Texas you don't hear shit unless you subscribe to some left-wing journal.
