This is a fine example of how a cop--through incompetence and an over-developed sense of entitlement to exercise force--attempts to escalate a situation into a violent encounter. Observe his lack of gratitude when he discovers how lucky he is that his victim is armed and capable of restraint, in the face of this bullmeep bullying whose intended endgame is made all too clear:
