r0b0c0p's journal: Mysterious Knife

So I was looking for this roll of double sided tape near my work place (which is a couch from my uncle's foster mother that my uncle gave to me after she died a couple years ago) and decided I would check under the couch cushion where most missing stuff ends up. I blindly slid my hand back and forth through the crumbs, and pennies when I felt something sharp, I carefully took it out, and looked at it. It is a sharp, smooth bladed knife with a brown wooden handle, I guessed it was a steak knife, but there's some sort of brown paint on the blade that's kind of fading near the edges, which makes me think it might be a letter opener, but it's hard to tell. There's no brand name on it, and it looks pretty old, too old to be anything my uncle would own,
