McGoatCheese's journal: New job for the goat.
Well it's been a crazy set of interviews and such, but i managed to get myself a new job. Basically I ended up having 3 phone interviews and a face to face interview since the beginnning of the month. It's been a long and mind bending process but as a result i am finally out of desktop support and going to actually do something that will make me think a little more than "run spybot, run adaware, make sure the machine has all the latest security patches". I'm going to be programming for a financial insitution. And the best part? I've managed to double my salary in the process along with the possibility of bonuses at the end of the year that vary depending on how well the company does. It will be alot more work, but good times good times. It will require me to move back to Connecticut, but not too much of a problem, i'll be over towards the NYC area, so plenty to keep me busy in my "spare time".
McGoatCheese's journal: judgements, appearances, and predispositions
