I own a lathe and a mill, along with cutting, drilling, welding, and bending equipment.
While I could not make an assault weapon out of a shovel, I could make one out of a junked Chevy.
Not only that, it would be a real assault weapon. Not that thing Lanza used.
A 'grease gun' THAT is an assault weapon.
Easy to make, cheap ammunition, and short enough that no one would ruin your fun by grabbing the barrel even in a crowd.
