You are wrong because you are ill informed. For example, WordPress accepts bitcoins (directly) as a payment method, they are a significant (58.7 million sites) multinational company (120 languages), they host web pages for CNN, The New York Times, Reuters, EBAY and many more household names.

Does your Deli Guy (or for that matter, Hot-dog Man or Taxi Driver) accept credit cards? debit cards? PayPal? Some might, but most do not - and those payment options have been around much longer than bitcoins.
