40+ conflicts around the world right now involve a particular stripe of Muslim not being able to get along with his neighbor...not counting Muslim/Muslim violence.
I don't see how the Israelis have many options - 1) Give up, find a new place to live or 2) Die. I have a specops friend in the IDF who is just plain sick of the fighting. He was called out of retirement to participate in this...thing.
Sure brings the 12-21-12 people out of the woodwork, though.

Remember in '47 when Palestine, out of nowhere, meeping INVADED the gentle, peace- loving Israel, bringing a meep ton of their heavily armed best friends with them, and sent them Jews running from their homes, and into the desert, forever? I mean, we totally had enemies all over the area, until we helped install a friend there, and now everyone is awesome friends, because our dollars make world peace happen.

I'm not clear on what percentage of Muslim (of any particular stripe) that represents.. however it seems that 100% of Jewish nations are having trouble getting along with their neighbors, which would mathematically indicate that Jews are actually harder to get along with than Muslims... I'm just sayin'.
Maybe it's time to consider how belligerent Israel is vis a vis the NPT and other international standards of conduct, and how that conduct might cultivate or contribute to the conflict in question.
If one wants to be a meepgot and apportion blame that is, which is not me.
