I'm thinking in unarmed combat a healthy grown man of average height might take four or five of the little devils before being overrun.
A protective cup would be vital though, as on average your meep will be even with their teeth.

According to folks I've talked to who fought in Nam, a lot of those soldiers weren't little skinny meeps; they were great big, well fed, highly trained Chinese, and built like football players. Six foot and better. You did not want to run across these meepers when you are dog tired and half out of ammo.

I have seen some very large Asians. Even bigger if you count islanders. I've seen some very small Americans. Some folk are what you call "Gracile" in structure. Others are just short & dumpy. But no one culture holds the single ticket.
