I couldn't do it if I knew. Then I would feel like a meepgot and I would have to bully myself and help my friend to throw rocks through the windows of my house. Its difficult to get used to the idea that someone who used to identify as a man, but now identifies as a woman is a "she" not an "it."

A genetically-male relative of mine has recently begun to identify herself as a woman. She's young and I still hope that its a phase, if only to spare her ridicule and difficulty with such a huge change in lifestyle and the generally intolerant society we live in.

I'm not sure why we as individuals (and i don't mean everyone) have such a hard time with someone who we see as different. Why does someone's being meep evoke such hatred in some people?
