If the police have to be called on your 5 year old, you have a problem.
If your child doesn't know well enough to respect a police officer, you have a problem.
Even if you say, "meep the police," if your child is in a school, a public place, et cetera, and they physically attack an adult under any non-rape, non-kidnapping, or non-abuse situation, you have a problem.
If this were my child, the police would be the least of his problems.

You don't handle a kid the way you handle a "250 pound drug crazed psychopath." You can't mace a 5 year old, but you can to that psychopath. You can't stun gun a 5 year old, but you can to that psychopath. You can't leg sweep and tackle a 5 year old but you can that psychopath. These are completely different flavors and completely different situations. Part of the reason we're so meeped up right now is that there is no differentiation. This goes along the same line as beating the meep out of your kid versus a good old fashioned spanking. This is a child that has no meeping respect and needs someone to be stern with him because quite obviously the parent(s) and the community have no idea how to.
Seriously. Sit down. Put yourself back to when you were 5. What made you act like a meeping human? What kept you from ripping your mom's hair out and gouging at her eyes when you were made to shower? This is what some of these kids are at. If anyone attacks me, child or not, I will neutralize that threat. I always knew that if I hit my mom, or anyone else, that I could expect them to kick the meep out of me. It's a cause and effect. We need this again.
