It really sounds like the guys in charge have no problem with women being beaten though. I'm guessing they don't think women should go to college, learn how to drive, or hold a job.

Yes, cause only women are the victims of domestic violence. Ask any cop what the ratio is like and they'll probably tell you that it's actually fairly equal in that area.
