The reason I submitted this link is because I love the way the thread is formatted and presented. Never mind the bullmeep news that it's delivering, look at the way it's formatted...

Ok, tutorial:

It's a bunch of posts. Left hand side of each post tells me 'when' and 'from where'. Because it's a live stream, it's plorped out in chronological order. Good thing. Now, when I see something that interests me, I know when and where that blorb came from. I am now informed enough to USE A SEARCH ENGINE (this is a hint) to find relevant offerings that may or may not support the content of the thread, and/or, that particular blorb.

Next, it moves fast enough that the presenter of the thread doesn't really have time to politically twist anything. Basically, this guy is feeding me interesting information on a topic - as it is dumped into the internet. From what I can see it's a copy paste of a description and a link. No opinion. Good start.

The poster is randomly grabbing meep as it come's in. (much the way linkswarm does), gently parsing it, and dumping it into his timeline. I like this. It makes sense. It's real, live, imperfect but uncolored and it challenges me to go look for the truth.

Lastly, it gets frozen in time and (so far) doesn't get edited any further. It is what it was for as long as it lives, the way it should be; a record of what came through the pipes, as soon as it came through the pipes - uncolored and frozen in time.

Now, it isn't perfect, not by a long shot, but this news delivery format pounds the meep out of anything you've watched on American TV in the last 15 years.

I'm just saying.

A lot of news get's funneled through linkswarm. I'd like a lot more of it to be like this meep right here. Not necessarily from this particular site (please no) but definitely of this format.

Now, go back and look at the contents of the live news thread that I submitted and try to understand why this format is better than pretty much anything else available today.

Then, find us feeds like thus to devour.

Or, go watch FOX. Whatever.
